Influences & History

Global One Records is a distribution label of World Music and Nasheed that aims at providing continuous access to great international music through online digital distribution and cross-market promotion.  Global One Records is  distributing and marketing digital content to more than 30,000 customers every month.

In April 2010 Global One Records released the first studio album of the popular Montreal-based Moroccan band Burdah Ensemble (link).  A few weeks later the album topped all the regional Canadian charts and established the Burdah Ensemble as a household name on the Andalusian and world music scene.

Global One Records is the official distributor of Sulis Cinta Rasul in America and Europe.  Sulis Cinta Rasul is a 10x platinum artist hailing from South-East Asia.  We also distribute music from Ani, a Grammy-winner Malaysian artist and Ali Elsayed, a new American nasheed singer.

Global One Records brings together different unique musical styles such as Senegal’s Mbalax and Senerap, France’s Neo-Soul, America’s New-Age, Asia's World Music and the oriental genre of North Africa and the Middle East which mixes traditional vibes with a modern sound.

Global One Records also provides music services such as digital distribution and manufacturing and supply solutions to independent and established artists. 

Global One Records was launched in 2006 by Unity One Investments LLC, an international investments group with offices in  the USA.
